Franklin & Sons non-alcoholic beverages were first introduced in 1886 when three brothers, George, Frederick, and Albert Franklin, began selling a handcrafted range of soft drinks at 171 High Street, Rickmansworth, London. They started their journey by selling mineral water in a confectionery shop. Through the production and distribution of carbonated soft drinks and tonics in a small shop, the Franklin brothers were on a mission to introduce new flavors and experiences from around the world to Victorian Britain. The entire range uses only natural flavors, extracts, and colors, and never includes preservatives or sweeteners. They are carbonated for the best liveliness in the chosen role of a particular liquid. Light for non-alcoholic drinks and food pairings, strong for tonics and mixers – spirits. The natural ingredients are originally from the UK, supporting local agriculture for the best ‘in-class’ quality. For example, rhubarb from the Yorkshire Triangle and raspberry ‘cloves’ from Scotland. Ensuring optimal freshness, all ingredients are hand-prepared and blended until the boiling point. All drinks are gluten-free.
