Spezi
Spezi is a favorite carbonated drink of our relatives and friends from Germany. You may have already heard about the mix of cola and orange juice, but Spezi, according to the original German recipe, is much more than what we were offered as children when we couldn’t get the “real thing”!
Juicy orange juice and refreshing cola are a combination that brings together the seemingly impossible! The original German “Spezi” is synonymous with the mix of cola and orange juice. Its taste is widely recognized, as is its unique logo – two halves of an orange, which have been a symbol of quality for over 50 years.

Spezi pays tribute to friendship, joy, and the little things in life. The collage on Spezi’s packaging serves as a reminder of how important it is to have a “friend for life” and, even more importantly, to be a friend for life! Spezi, whose origins date back to 1956, aims to be part of your team, so save a place at your table!
The drink quickly expanded to other countries. In the 1980s, the combination of cola and orange juice was a well-known mix across all parts of former Yugoslavia, thanks to the large number of workers who enjoyed the original Spezi in Germany.
Under license and the original recipe, Spezi has been available on our markets for the past few years. Spezi packaging comes in glass form (0.25L), PET (1.25L), and PET (0.5L), further emphasizing the importance of socializing, laughter, and friendship – for all generations!

Das Original – The History of Spezi
In 1956, the production of a drink called “Spezi” began in Augsburg, Germany. The name has symbolic meaning and, in Bavarian dialect, means “good friend.” During this period, Riegele Brewery was one of the first to simultaneously develop non-alcoholic beverages.
The managers of the brewery noticed that people in restaurants were asking for a mixed drink of cola and orange juice. Recognizing its great potential, they decided to transfer the existing name “Spezi” to the new drink—a mixture of cola and orange juice. Almost by accident, they created a beverage that quickly became very popular.
